Postcards from Pawnee City TV Commercials

The Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce in 2007 launched a major television commerical program on Time Warner Cable. A 30 second commercial featuring 3 major attractions in town was aired on the Travel Channel to over 70,000 households in southest Nebraska. This six month advertising campaign featured our TV ad every hour from 6am to 12 midnight daily (18 commercials a day). We hope to do a similar program in 2008.

Pawnee City Community Foundation receives major gift

The Pawnee City Community Foundation announced today they have received a donation of the entire "Visions Along the Platte River Valley" CD series from author Phil Walker. The $22,000 inventory gift has a retail value to the Foundation of over $125,000.00. Read More...

Pawnee City's 150th birthday "Hometown Favorites" Cookbook now on sale

The Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce has announced that they have completed publishing of a special edition Pawnee City 150th birthday cookbook to celebrate the community's milestone. Over 635 recipes are included in the hard cover keepsake cookbook. Current and former Pawnee City residents, family and alumni submitted their treasured collections of recipes from many outstanding cooks whose contributions made the cookbook possible. Building 5 new houses tops list of Chamber projects in 2008
