Join the Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce

The Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce is a civic group made up
of individuals that are interested in improving the general welfare
of Pawnee City, and the quality of life for its citizens through
active, constructive projects. Some of these projects include the
annual fireworks display, Christmas promotion, the redbud tree
project, the outdoor summer theater, seasonal banners on the light
poles, a college scholarship, and donations to worthy causes in
our community like the Pawnee City School's fitness center, the
current Assisted Living endeavor, and the proposed trap shoot
facility.

In the past few years, the Chamber of Commerce has been
instrumental in arranging for five new homes to be built in town,
as well as erecting the new billboard on the north end of town, and
building the two permanent welcome signs on the north and east
edges of Pawnee City.

The Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce is beginning its annual
membership drive. Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to
be a business owner to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Annual dues are $35 for an individual membership; $75 for a
business membership with 9 or fewer employees; and $125 for a
business membership with 10 or more employees. If you would
like to help support the endeavors of the Pawnee City Chamber of
Commerce by becoming a member, dues payments can be mailed
to: Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 6, Pawnee
City, NE 68420.

The current Chamber Board members are Joe Stehlik, Renee
Boomgaarn, Linda Hinrichsen, Joe Davis, Nanette Hatfield, Susan
Pope, Jaime Graham, Dan Lovercheck, Tammy McClintock, and
Ron Puhalla. Please contact one of them with any questions you
