SCC’s Beatrice Campus, in a community of approximately 12,500, is located on the west side of the city on West Scott Road, just off U.S. Highway 136. Beatrice is the county seat of Gage County and is approximately 45 miles south of Lincoln on U.S. Highway 77. The main part of campus is comprised of classroom/office buildings, including the award-winning (for architecture) Academic Excellence Center, along with four housing units, the Kennedy Center, and a gymnasium. Approximately 1100 students take classes on the Beatrice Campus. Just south of the main campus is the Agriculture Center, situated on a nearly 600-acre laboratory where students receive hands-on instruction in multiple focus areas. A new welding center, where students can earn their certificate in welding, opened in August 2024.
Our Beatrice Campus is located in Gage County on a beautiful semi-rural campus. We offer degree and certificate options in 15 career and technical programs as well as an academic transfer program for those planning to complete a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college. Home to our agriculture programs, we have a farm which includes crops and livestock managed by our students.
