Dear Business Owner:
Are you struggling to find sufficient applicants to fill your job openings?
Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress a five county region including Otoe, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee and Richardson Counties was formed to help bolster our communities in the areas of depopulation, workforce recruitment, and entrepreneurship. Over the past five years we have been working toward economic growth and marketing strategies for our communities as well as for you the small business owner. We have developed several projects and educational workshops to enhance our local businesses. Two areas of interest today are FREE Job Postings and Job Fairs.
Through our website: SoutheastNebraska.org we have been able to post open positions for our businesses. This FREE service is provided to our businesses in our five county area. We are writing to inform you of this service if you were not aware already. Companies with less than 200 employees are able to advertise their job openings on CareerLink (Nebraska's most visited job board) through Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress. This must go through Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress in order for this to be FREE. If you are interested in posting jobs you may contact Patty Schwab with the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corp. and provide her with the job posting information at (402) 873-4293.
Most recently Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress has represented businesses from the five counties at two job fairs and advertised business contact information and the SoutheastNebraska.org website highlighting current job openings in our area. Our objective is to recruit graduates, veterans and high school students in finding their careers right here in Southeast Nebraska. New industries seeking to locate in our area will undoubtedly be looking for many demographic factors including a strong labor force. Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress is considering coordinating and facilitating a Southeast Nebraska Job Fair late spring in 2012. Before we start planning, we would like to find out your level of interest in attending the job fair as a business participant. Please let us know by contacting Stephanie Shrader at the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corp. at (402) 873-4293 or ____________________. We will collect the local areas of interest.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Shrader
Southeast Nebraska Partners 4 Progress Chairperson
